Wiki and a Blog

The difference between a Wiki and a blog would be you can design your blog page. By designing the page this seems to be more personal than that Wiki. It is similar that people can view and comment back.

During this class I found the Nettrekker beneficial. My kids really enjoyed the video that went along with the lessons I have been teaching. There was a Water Cycle clip that I plan to show my students. The only problem is... is I don't know how to show it. In the next classes I hope to learn how to use the Smart Board or to show the video on a larger screen such as the overhead projector.

About Me

My Name is Dana Rutkowski. In 2002 I graduated from Shamokin Area High School. In my high school years I played basketball, threw in track, and ran cross country. I went on to continue my eduction at Bloomsburg University. My degree is dual with Elementary Education/Special Education. I teach at Shamokin Area Elementary School. This is my 3rd year of teaching 4th grade. This is also my first year of coaching JV and Varsity basketball. Our JV team finished with an undefeated season and our varsity is in the 2nd round of districts. Our next game is Tuesday, March 24, 2008 against Selinsgrove. I still live in Shamokin. I grew up there and never left. With my busy schedule I am continuing with my graduate classes to get a master's degree in Classroom Technology.
